ABOUT ME

I want to support the development of individuals, workplaces, and networks to enable good work. My own approach to work is practical, solution-oriented, resource-wise, and future-oriented. My starting points are human-orientation and dialogue. I believe in working together and in the dialogue between practice and theory.

Tiina Leino

I am an experienced project manager and leader of change. Project phasing, resourcing, and scheduling are natural to me. Both Finnish and English can be used as working languages.

I am a PhD researcher in leadership. My research focuses on the dynamics and effects of informal leadership from both the expert and supervisor perspectives. Futrher, the research leads to the interaction between informal and formal leaders in the context of collective leadership, and their meaning in utilising competencies and achieving goals within the organisation. Currently I work in an international project as a project and communications manager at a university of applied sciences. Previously, I have worked as a teacher and PhD/project researcher in a university, as a regional developer in communications in the public sector and as a document controller in international project organizations in the private sector.

Who Leads at Your Workplace?
A column in Satakunta Region Chamber of Commerce journal, June 2024

"In the Networks Behind New Growth project (ESF), we piloted different forms of networking and ways of working, and it was interesting to see how recent research supports the project's objectives. At the Growth from Networks event, Tiina spoke about the changing leadership in a new and stimulating way. It was interesting to gain insights into how work and the change of leadership are linked to networks, leading networks and expert work. The impact extends from directors and managers all employees and customers, with the goal of genuinely sharing and achieving common goals." Tiina Keskinen and Jaakko Pohjolainen, City of Tampere Employment and Growth Services, Networks Behing New growth project (ESF), 2023

"Tiina is an inspiring speaker, who knows her topic very well. The passion for the theme is visible and audible!”

"The training event on the theme of collective and informal leadership gave ideas for leading the communication function - not only in own organization but also with networks outside of it."

"In her presentation to Satakunta regions HR/administrative directors, Tiina brought up complex challenges and also various proposed solutions related to the development of work well-being in municipalities. She also interestingly presented the potential of utilising formal and informal leadership in the context of leading municipalities."
Sari Hatanpää, administrative director, municipality of Merikarvia, 2022
